Climecon awarded the most influential sustainability partner of construction and building material trade for K Group

Climecon received recognition from Kesko Group as the most influential sustainability partner in construction and building materials trade, honoring its carbon-neutral operations and commitment to emissions reduction.

Climecon achieved recognition from K Group for becoming a carbon-neutral company and demonstrating continuous work to decrease emissions while encouraging others toward carbon reduction. The award was presented by Kesko Group, whose construction and building materials trade operates through Onninen and K-Rauta stores across the Nordics and Baltics. K Group prioritizes sustainable success across its entire value chain and actively encourages suppliers toward more sustainable operations. The partnership between Climecon and Onninen has flourished since 2008. Pekka Huhtela, Climecon's product manager for air terminal units, noted that "A partnership at its best is fluent and close. Our products in Onninen's selection have grown in volume and the end clients really value the high quality of our devices." The award reflects recognition of this long-term cooperation and alignment with Kesko's corporate values. CEO Tommi Uksila stated that becoming carbon-neutral positioned Climecon among the first companies in the building and construction field to achieve this milestone. He expressed that the company aims to use this recognition to encourage other organizations toward more carbon-conscious operations, setting an example through their sustainability achievements.
