VIVA design diffusers received an honorable mention at European Product Design Award

Climecon's VIVA wall diffusers earned recognition in the prestigious European Product Design Award competition through collaboration with interior architect Teemu Saukkonen.

The VIVA collection represents a collaboration between Climecon's ventilation specialists and renowned interior architect Teemu Saukkonen, resulting in streamlined diffusers that achieved an honorable mention among over one thousand competition entries. An international jury evaluated submissions based on innovativeness, aesthetics, functionality, usefulness, and ecological considerations. This marked the first time ventilation products reached such distinction at the European Product Design Award. The VIVA selection comprises stylish wall diffusers for both supply and exhaust air applications. Its distinctive feature allows identical terminal devices to be installed in continuous rows using non-functional grille sections, creating visually harmonious spaces without compromising technical performance. Saukkonen emphasized that "the selection offers designers a new alternative for finishing sites visually without compromising on technical performance," particularly beneficial for renovation projects with existing structural limitations. Climecon's R&D team engineered advanced technical capabilities including versatile airflow direction and precise locking adjustment mechanisms. These features deliver draft-free, energy-efficient, and silent ventilation while extending device lifespan. CEO Tommi Uksila noted the collection suits hotels, schools, and business environments where "a bit of extra is wanted from diffusers," combining distinguished timeless design with high-quality ventilation performance. VIVA diffusers accommodate 100-250 mm duct sizes with broad airflow ranges, available for flush and surface mounting throughout the Nordics, Europe, and UAE.
