Hämeenkylä School

The thorough renovation of Hämeenkylä School prioritised energy efficiency, comfort and an improved indoor climate. The teaching facilities required high draught-comfort criteria, low noise levels, control of large air volumes and easy cleaning.

ROX and ROX-S nozzle ducts were chosen for the classrooms thanks to their adjustable throw pattern for future changes of use, their ability to accommodate higher suspended ceilings for an airier environment, and their smooth surfaces that make maintenance simple.

The school's kitchen serves around 1,500 lunches a day. CleanMaster solutions with vacuum UV purification were used for efficient grease breakdown and heat recovery. Ceiling ventilation solutions, StandardPlus dishwashing hoods and supply and exhaust air devices with grease filters manage the kitchen air quality, while air purifiers address sewer-ventilation odours.
