Hotel Runo

A century-old building on Porvoo's central square was given an ambitious renovation, opening in 2021 as a boutique hotel that honours its history through modern design. It offers guest rooms, meeting spaces, lounges, a high-class restaurant and spa facilities. Climecon air terminal devices and kitchen ventilation were chosen to maintain excellent indoor air quality across these varied spaces while complementing the hotel's refined character.

Low ceiling heights in the lobby and dining area called for carefully positioned diffusers able to deliver enough air without creating draughts, while the restaurant kitchen needed efficient extraction and air purification to support good working conditions - with warm, DALI-compatible lighting.
