Opinmäki Campus

Opinmäki campus, completed in June 2015, is Espoo's largest school building project and accommodates about one thousand daily students. The facility required an efficient kitchen ventilation system capable of handling substantial cooking operations.

Climecon's CleanMaster® Hoods were selected for the kitchen's expansive spaces for their superior grease fume management. The CleanMaster® technology prevents grease accumulation in exhaust ducts while purifying exhaust air, enabling extended food preparation cycles without frequent cleaning interruptions while maintaining hygiene standards.

An additional energy-efficiency advantage came from heat recovery — the kitchen's exhaust air heat is captured by the building's heat-recovery ventilation system, delivering significant energy savings. StandardPlus Hoods were chosen for the household-skills classroom, valued for their stylish design and compact construction height suitable for spacious learning environments.
