Salpaus Further Education

Salpaus is a further-education training centre serving 14,000 students that underwent a major renovation incorporating Climecon ventilation solutions across all types of spaces. The project prioritised occupant well-being, comfort and sustainable development.

The centre's diverse spaces – from large teaching rooms to small group workspaces and offices – required flexible terminal devices with adjustable throw patterns. OLO suspended-ceiling diffusers combined with FLO plenum boxes provided an adaptable solution. NOT nozzle ducts offered versatile, easily directed airflow for high spaces, while ROL nozzle ducts and ROL-S adjustment units handled the large air volumes in the auditoriums.

Displacement ventilation via the DINO series of diffusers was used throughout corridors, lobbies and auditoriums to move supply air efficiently at low velocity through the occupied zone. For the professional kitchen serving around 2,500 meals a day, Climecon hoods and ceiling ventilation solutions were chosen for their high purification efficiency and low maintenance.
