TUISKU louvres protect the intake openings of HVAC systems from snow and water – with 100% water separation up to a face velocity of 2 m/s (class A per EN 13030:2001, tested by Eurofins/VTT). The family offers vertical and horizontal blades, surface and recessed mounting, multi-part assemblies, a service door and the AntiFrost defrosting system.

TUISKU rain louvres prevent snow and water from entering the ductwork and are tested by the VTT laboratory. The P and V models draw air through the front face of the grille, the PS and VS models through the front and the sides. TUISKU has a sloped bottom with a drain hole; drainage and heating are recommended for the intake chamber. The louvre must be at least 100 mm larger than the wall opening on each side; the recommended face velocity is 0.7 m/s. Units larger than 2200×2000 mm are made from several joined parts; custom sizes are also possible (smallest special size 300×400 mm). OptiINSTALL and front mounting: surface models come standard with the innovative OptiINSTALL mounting rail – the installer sets the height and slides the grille horizontally before final anchoring. Multi-part vertical assemblies are now anchored from the front: laborious side mounting is eliminated and installation time is cut by up to 50%.
